ive been laggin on the posts i knw but ive been soo busy with....um....life i have no time, that and im lazy as all hell. but this weekend was absolutely amazing. i had an awesome weekend, not because anything special happened, but i don't know i guess it was in the air...literally...the weather was soo amazing and lifted everyones spirits from dull and gray to sunny and chipper. first off i want to talk about last monday....okay so im sitting at home totally vegging out, zombielike watching this really creepy doc. on the sundance channel looking like a mess after school when i hear this knock on my door, im thinking ooh crap what does this crazy old hag from downstairs want???!!!! when i open the door to my utter shock and horror it was marc. im like wat the hell r u doing here?? not realizing who it was only after 2 minutes did it hit me so hes like go get dressed go get ready ive been trying to call u for an hour i called a million times c'mon move your ass.....ur going to c coldplay" i was shocked i was soo amazed at his sponteniety and cuteness. it didnt hit me until we were on our way that i was going to c coldplay. still shocked and amazed!!! anyways the concert was awesome The Verve played......yes they are still together.....yes they played bittersweet symphony .....and.....yes they kicked ass, coldplay was awesome. at first we got there and we were sitting in our seats and they totally sucked we could barely see the stage it was terrible but by the end of the verve's set we got up and sat ourselves right on top of chris martins head. The whole section infront of us was all a bunch of 16 year olds spliffing getting fuckin wasted tons of beers and hooking up they would not chill out for the duration of the concert it was insane!!!! cuz they were all yellow...... hazy eyes.......random pictures from other times......

i know i just posted a similar post to this but its uncanny how history is recycled. i was flipping through a book called simply "Hippie" and the resemblance of the times just amazes me. so were going through a time that is very similar to that of the 70's. war, drugs, sex and rock n' roll. ive categorized todays hippies theres the granola eating yoga fitness nutritionist hippie right then you got your stoner hippies, that still wear tye dyed shirts and birks and would still follow the "dead" or phish if given the slightest bit of opportunity then you got ur scenester hippies, that are hippies by default because spliffs beer lsd rock vegetarianism homosexuality and bisexuality is the standard
